Bali
I slept in today and it felt great. I went to breakfast and ate my usual eggs and toast. I then headed back to my room to get ready for the beach.
Around 12:00, I grabbed a shuttle to the hotel beach I had been to a couple days before. I grabbed a comfy lounge chair and laid in the sun. I was spraying on my sunblock when a lady near me yelled that she was allergic to my spray and had to move.
It was a hot, but not too hot, day. It was great just relaxing with nothing to do. After a couple hours I decided it was lunch time. I grabbed my stuff and walked down the beach to see if I could find an affordable restaurant. When I didn't find one, I went back to the main road in town to find one. I didn't really see any that sounded very good so I just went back to the one Amber and I had gone to the day before. I ordered spring rolls and fries and a soda, which came to a whopping $3. It definitely wasn't the best meal I've had but I wasn't gonna complain too much.
I got back to the hotel and decided to go in the pool and then lay by the pool with my Kindle. The pool was just the right temperature, which I am very picky about. After a while, a couple young girls came by with their bags and put their luggage in their rooms. They then headed over to the pool. I pretty much knew that they were going to be on the tour.
I then headed in for a shower and got ready to meet my group at 6:00. At 6:00, I went to the restaurant and met my tour guide Gede (pronounced G'Day.) I met Miriam from LA, Andy from England and Gita from England. We filled out paperwork and then headed off to dinner. It was only a 5 minute walk. I ordered a stir fry with vegetables and I forgot to say "no egg" so it was very "eggy." I also got a pineapple juice... all for $3.
We walked back to the hotel and I decided to get an early sleep to be rested for the beginning of the tour. I knew my roommate would show up at some point so I left the door unlocked.
Until next time!
