Arrived in Interlaken today- anther beautiful city. Clean waters and traditional swiss houses. We eventually found our hostel (the directions given to us were wrong. We are convinced people here do not know their left from their right!! Dropped bags off and set off to explore Interlaken. Such a small place, doesn't take long to walk anywhere. We had a beer in the sunshine and watched the paragliders landing in the field just across the path- getting excited to do it ourselves now!! We were hungry so had some lunch and learnt just how expensive Switzerland is! The portions are small too! We had a pasta bolognese each, bowl of chips to share and a bottle of water each and the total was 57 Swiss Francs!! We decided to buy from the supermarkets from now on! On the map we found there was an open swimming pool and crazy golf so had a game of golf! Some very strange holes there. We were feeling very tired and hot so headed back to the hostel and booked our paragliding- woooo!! We went into the hostel garden to relax on the hammock with a couple of cans of swiss beers (classy). Had a chat with some fellow travellers and sampled some of the hostel cooked food- burger and chips. Headed to bed ready for our exciting day tomorrow :-)
