Another hectic day today as we decided to visit the waterfall in Lauterbrunnen. We were lucky with the weather because it had been raining most of the night but was clearing up. Had to catch a bus and then a train and arrived at Lauterbrunnen about half an hour later. Very small town with lots of swiss cottages and not much going on which was nice. Found the waterfall (not hard). So beautiful. We walked up the trail that took you just underneath the water and we both got slightly wet! We decided to get on a cable car to go further up the mountains and chose to go to Murren. The other places were so expensive it was ridiculous. We would love to come back one day and hike the mountains properly. When we got to the top the views were sensational. Definitely worth the trip up there. We could see the top of the Jungfrau above us which is apparently the highest point in Europe. It was crazy seeing so many snowy mountains when it was so sunny and warm. Also was amazing seeing how much they towered above the clouds. We had a little wander, taking in the great views and found a perfect place to stop and have a little picnic. We were up there for a couple of hours and then decided to travel back down as we needed to get back to Interlaken to catch our train. Sad to leave Interlaken as we loved it so much but also excited to see Geneva. Got to Geneva around 8pm, found the hostel which didn't look good from the outside so were a bit dubious but was fine inside thank god! Then went to look for somewhere to eat for dinner and then to a hotel on the lake front for a drink to end the night. Can't wait to explore tomorrow!
