Monday - I arrived back in 'Cairns' today and was dropped off at "Cairns Beach House" where I will be staying before my flight to 'New Zealand' tomorrow. It is $10 a night as we have a discount card. The hostel is basic but the dorm has an en-suite bathroom, so its not all bad! I then met up with Neeley and Annie at "Captain Cooks" where they have been staying all week, I also saw Alison again (from the Whitsundays trip) as she is staying in the same room as the girls. I then had a wander around town gathering information on car hire and bus trips in 'New Zealand' before meeting them at the man-made lagoon where Annie and Neeley were enjoying the last rays of Australian sun! In the evening I went to the cinema to see "Mr and Mrs Smith" while Annie and Neeley did their washing and packed their bags - which I had already done in 'Port Douglas'! Tuesday - I catch a plane at 11.30am to 'New Zealand'!! I cant believe that my Australian adventure is over I have had such a good time!! 'Sydney' and 'Melbourne' were my favourite cities, and I really enjoyed all the trips that I have been on (Uluru, Great Ocean Road, Whitsundays, Fraser island), I also really liked Noosa and Port Douglas. Australia is definitly a place that I would like to return to and explore. But this trip was fantastic!
