I met up with Neeley and Anne-Marie in 'Brisbane' on Monday morning and we headed off to catch the Greyhound bus to 'Noosa' at 10am. Monday - We arrived in 'Noosa' at lunchtime and Annie and I were picked up at the bus stop by our hostel (The Dolphin Beachhouse) and Neeley also went to her hostel (Koalas). We are staying in different hostels due to the deals that we are on for our Fraser Island trips. We then all met at 'Noosa Junction' for lunch; 'Noosa' is divided into lots of little suburbs but still has a little town feel. After lunch we went for a walk to get our bearings. We found "Main Beach" and then walked up the path along the beach towards the entrance to the National Park. On the way back down into we found a spot on the rocks and watched sunset with the waves splashing onto the rocks. We then wandered down "Haistings Street" - very expensive restaurants and apartments - before getting dinner at 'Noosa Junction'. We spent the evening in catching up on all our adventures of the last week. Tuesday - I seemed to spend most of Tuesday updating the website and generally catching up on emails. After lunch I met up with Annie and Neeley on "Main Beach" and caught some rays in the afternoon. We then all walked to "Noosa River", which was very pretty - lots of the houses had boat launching sites out the back! In the evening Annie and I stayed at our hostel and chilled out, and Neeley did the same at hers. Wednesday - We got the 9.30am bus to 'Harvey Bay'.
