After our first few days in Albany of sunshine and exploration, the weather we left behind in Esperance finally caught up with us and we have spent the majority of the last two days sheltering from the rain. Thankfully we have had the pool table and theatre room to keep us entertained during the rain soaked days and we have also been introduced to the wonders of Texas Hold 'Em Poker in the camp kitchen of an evening.

During our evenings huddled around the log fire in the camp kitchen we have met several groups of happy campers, including one group of three middle-aged couples who seem more than happy to supply us with their culinary delights. In fact they get quite offended if we say no and this morning we even started the day with sardines fried in flour or breakfast! It would seem that they all want to make sure we're eating enough and as they have all left their grown up kids behind and we are obviously filling that role for now!

The forecast for the next few days seems to be pretty promising so far and if the weather holds up we are planning a few more excursions to see what else is around the area before we head off again towards Perth.
