Caught up on your news, looking forward to seeing the photos. Missing you loads. You'll be pleased to hear that Tracey Childs is keeping up the Christmas countdown tradition in your room, but it's not decorated yet!!!
All very boring here - no good gossip. Claire has an offer at Marjons for PGCE Geography and may be buying a house.
Rob (Solman) got ABBb at A level and is now at Exeter having a whale of a time drinking, playing sport and occasionally doing some work.
We need a giraffe to join the elephant from your last trip.
Enjoy the rest of your trip - it's not the same without you.

Hello. It was Vil's 40th party at The Passage House Hotel in Newton Abbot last night complete with 70s glam rock tribute band and lots of fab outfits. Rob dressed as Elvis and I went as Debbie Harry. Good fun. You will be pleased to know it is freezing here (apparently it went below zero last night). Glad all is well. Keep smiling X

I CANT BELIEVE THAT! I have just spent ages typing you out a huge messege telling you our life story and all the juicy gossip but it disappeared! PANTS! Basically it said about half term with Andys M and D down. Andys mum loved the quaint high street and was regularly "away to get the messages!"(said in a very high pitched scottish acent just to hear Pete giggle! Andys Dad loved our log fire and chilled out big time down here. Also we have been to the Brecons in a cottage with Lil Jen, Kate and Stu and 2 of their mates and did a mammoth 29 miler mountain bike ride which featured rivers, slurry pits and stinking cow s*** smelling bikes in the back of our car! Ace fun - got the Plym valley trail tom with hazel, Gareth, Alan and a few others and off to Holden Hill forest next weekend.
Work is mad but when isnt it?!
Got your postie up on the fridge - wow all looks and sounds fab - hope you are taking 100s of photos you 2!
Alan is here now and has just given me the lovely jewellery you have sent over - it is really amazing and I will be wearing it tonight at Ruths 50th birthday bash (table football planned so will start warming up after this with 100 wrist rotations left and right and 50 punches in the air)
Better sign off as we dont want to be late - AS IF! Miss ya heaps xxx

Not much else planned really except for off to Ruths 50th tonight - table football planned so should be good! Ill sign off now - great to hear you are both well - what are the people on your truck like? Thanks for the postie - it is on our fridge next to Abis and little gregs (andys nephew) master pieces! Have fun and keep snapping!

Hey, the lyrics looked perfect before I posted the message ... sorry ... a little hard to decipher ... but something to do whilst you're in the truck. Sorry. D+ must try harder.

Excellent last message P Guy Band. It all sounds very exciting. I hope Victoria Falls is enjoyable. Good to see you're finally on a train. Obviously check whether the driver is wearing a Casey Jones hat. Received the postcard from the Serengeti. Superb zebra in the corner. How obscure is that? One zebra right on the edge of the photo with about a billion wilderbeest.... and heading out of the picture too. Made me chuckle. Very good. Anyway, it all sounds very exotic and brilliant fun. Here's the whole lyrics for radiation vibe ...
Are you alone now
Did you lose the monkey
He gave you backaches
and now you slouch
He didn't mean it
He's just a dumb ape
Reading Playboy
On your couch
And now it's time to say
What I forgot to say
Baby baby baby
Come on, what's wrong
It's a radiation vibe I'm groovin on
Don't it make you want to get some sun
Shine on, shine on, shine on
I went to Pittsburgh
And joined a pro team
Talk about a bad dream
I broke a knee
But I can still croon
And make the girls swoon
Isn't that the way life's
Supposed to be
And now it's time to say
What I forgot to say
Baby baby baby
Come on, what's wrong
It's a radiation vibe I'm groovin on
Don't it make you want to get some sun
Shine on, shine on, shine on
Next week ... Take the Skinheads Bowling
Yeas, Palace have been a little inspiring of late ... but Chelsea rightfully languish at the top of the league ... and a beautiful sight it is too. I have taken a shine to Bournemouth too of late and they are steadily climbing the table. All is right with the world. Have fun.

thanks to all of you who have been in touch since our last message. Its hotter than ever here in Bulawayo, Zimbwe. We have one night here then we have another game drive tomorrow before being dropped at the train station. Yes some deisel has been located in Zim and we are booked on a train in sleeper class, to travel up to Vic falls. Still from all the books i have read i will not count my chickens until the train actually arrives in Vic. talking of chickens i expect if we walk up and down the carriages we will actually be able to count chickens. They seem to be a requirement of public transport travel.
Vic F is the half way point and we are quite relieved to have made it that far. The company on our truck varies from the extremes of some absolutely brilliant new friends to the complete b******** . It is a a real trial at times. But the journey keeps providing us with highs that outway the lows. We have just spent 3 nights at a game park lodge where we were able to walk with lions and ride on elephants. More news in our next postie.
John and Mel great to hear life is sweet. Do you really want to go back to work Mel? Thanks so much for staying in touch, there is another postie on its way when we leave Zim. It costs 3.50 to send a pc from here!!! But i will keep them coming.
JJJD and NPBR thanks for spending time with Win sounds like you had a great time. I'm really missing the coast path believe it or not. I've just heard from our mate Ben who is a big Palace fan and believe we have won 4 games in a row and are mid table!!!!! JGuy, please send me the chorus to radiation Vibe by the mighty Fountains of Wayne. I can't quite remember it and it is bugging me as it is now truck discussion topic. You will be glad to hear that Creedence is played regulaly on the truck. Far Out Man.
Cate and Su keep on rockin' , JB will be in touch soon.
The streets are steaming here in Bully and we're about to strut.............
