Hi everyone, we have made it to Cape Town and are so glad to be off the truck at last. It has been a long 8 weeks. We are now busy exploring the city and hope to climb Table mountain tomorrow, with Mr Benedict Schiller. We have a friend from the truck who was born here and he will be showing us around so we have a good guide. We move down to Simon's Town in a few days to explore the cape itself. We are not going to Bolton before Christmas this year. Hopefully Joan will be able to go to Florida in March/April and we'll go up for a fortnight then. Have fun. Mum

hello, played badminton with jamie on sat - (p.e teacher from lipson who coaches badminton!!) i ache soooo much now! my xmas tree is up and abi is getting very excited. took her to see Bill and Ben at th pavilions yesterday. Plans for your stay in Adelaide are going well. We've hired 4WD and booked the ferry for Kangaroo Is. All set to fly up to Arkaroola on Wed return Fri. Options for New Years eve: stay home with video and bag of chips; arrange party with seafood and copious quantities of wine; dinner at good restaraunt or chinese restaraunt etc.; street party with Brett; or none of the above. Please indicate, booking may be required. We have a self contained cottage at KI and need to take our own food with us, what are your preferences? Try not to get mugged in South Africa. Can't believe your going to Vic Falls, very jealous! Its very cold here this week so we are suffering having not had a 'winter' for 2 years! You must be looking foward to Oz, have a VB and a vegimite sandwich for us.
