San Francisco After a final goodbye (and shower) at Charles and Ruth's, we set off to San Francisco. We decided to take the Pacific Coast highway as Charles and Ruth had recommended this. It takes a little bit longer but is very pretty. Well... it took a lot longer but only because we were stopping every 15 minutes to look at the views. This is one of the best driving roads we have ever seen - sheer drops and twisting bends on the cliff edge with no barrier....
