Ok.... so continuing on...... We got up MEGA early and headed off to Uluru to watch the sun rise.... this was beautiful - again took tons of photos as you can see!!! After that we did the walk around the base of Uluru which was about 7k... It wasn't too hot as it was still really early in the morning although we had been up for soooo long time just seemed to be standing still haha... The walk was fab as we were sooo close to the rock and our tour guide was telling us aborigional stories about its significance and stuff which was great! The tour guides are sooo passionate about what they do!! It took us ages to walk round as we were taking soo many pics and there were soo many flies that it got quite unbearable at times but it was great! We then headed back to camp for lunch and packed our stuff to move on again! We travelled to Kings Creek station that afternoon which was another campsite but loads quieter than the last one as it was purely for Connections. It was great and once again we camped out under the stars and we later found that Chappie (our tour guide) was really proud of us as people usually chicken out but loads of us (mainly all the girls) stayed out all night!! It was yet another early morning but we got 30 mins lie in as it was a 5am start this time!! We travelled to Kings Canyon which was the most AMAZING place i've ever been!! Its certainly the highlight of the tour for me so far!!! It was sooooooo beautiful!! The views were fantastic and you can't put it into words! The hike was pretty hairy at times as it was really steep and you had to be really careful of your footing! We were walking for about 3 hrs and the amazing sights just got better and better! The photos REALLY don't do it justice at all!! After that we headed back to the campsite for lunch and then headed back to Alice Springs in the afternoon where we all snoozed on the 3-4 hour trip back!! We then chilled for a while before going out for the evening in Alice Springs! We went to a place called Bojangles for a meal and drinks. Most people went home early as they were tired from the exhausting day but Julie and I were hardcore and partied away until the early hours of the morning and Chappie stayed with us too!
