Travelled back to France with the bimini, it was an eventful journey, travelling with a bundle of two metre poles and a canvas cover on the train and plane is definitely a conversation starter. The train was late arriving at the airport because the train in front had broken down causing me to run with said package. However having arrived late, pushed to the front of the check in queue, I discovered the flight was delayed 2.5 hours. Fortunately I sat next to Steven on the plane, he was reading practical boat owner and owns a First 40.7 for racing. He missed his meetings and so having nothing to do in Nantes offered to drive me to Pornichet in a Fiat 500,this was a bit like the opening sequence to The Antiques Roadshow.
We assembled and put up the bimini today and had lunch in the shade.
