Studied the weather carefully and decided to do short hop to Porto Vecchio with strong offshore winds. Set off with no winds and then it increased to 33 knots as it funnelled down the valleys. Engine stopped at this point so turned round and headed back to Solenzara. Diagnosed the problem as fuel starvation but system would not bleed so got tow into harbour. Opening up fuel tank looks like diesel bug round the entry to engine pipe. Waiting for engineer to help fix.
