Yesterday was spent doing jobs, washing, shopping and boat maintenance. Have replaced the leaking water pump. The tricky join to the accumulator proved easy but the new bulk head fittings were different to the old ones and I had to buy new screws to make it work. However we have now successfully stopped the leak.

Today we set off in drizzle for the Isle d'Yeu. It soon stopped raining and we had another down wind sail all day. The swell was large at times which made the new crew members feel sick and an hour before reaching the island, the sky went black and it poured with rain whilst blowing a gale. Fortunately this passed quickly and it has been sunny every since we arrived. Ñ
