Eventually made it to California! Went to visit Yosemite National Park for two nights. Stayed just ouTside the park in definatley the worst accom so far! We could hardly bear to have a shower. Luckily there was a hotel next door so we kept sneaking in there to go for the toilet! Yosemite is a gorgeous National Park, very green and you can't get away from the scenery. It was nice to see some greenery again after being in the desert. Didn't do anything too strenuous in Yosemite. Went a wee walk to the lower waterfall and managed to climb some rocks to get as close to the pool as possible. Sam was like a tree frog hopping here there and everywhere. We also hired a dinghy and paddled down the river for the afternoon. It was a great laugh and put my co-ordination to the test when trying to steer, we all nearly fell out! had a good last night with the group. Had a sing song and a few drinks. It's been a very quick two weeks!
