We had hoped to spend time in Croatia visiting some of the coastal areas but we ended up deciding that the weather wasn't great yet so it wouldn't be a wise way to spend our time, we would see plenty more islands and beaches later in our journey. As a result we just visited Zagreb and were more or less underwhelmed. There was an old town which was nice enough but nothing mind blowing so we found it to be just another big city to stop over on our way to other destinations.
