Hello!!!
Boy am I glad to be in Georgia! Being followed around by a religious nut who thought I was his new best friend in fort lauderdale was not fun! Topped off with the only thing to there being to lay on the beach, which isn't possible during thunderstorms!
The bus here was the worst by far! I gainedan adopted grannie who sat next to me all nervous saying she had never rode the greyhound before. Me being the pro got to walk her through it haha! We got to Orlando at midnight expecting to get our transfer at 1am. I was literally at the front of the queue when the bus driver shut the door in my face. He didn't explain that the bus was full. The baggage handler came in and asked me if I was with the guy in front of me, I had been talking to him - he was a French guy travellig like me, I told him not really, but he said if I want to be he can try and get me on the bus. He tried but the driver wasn't havig any of it! We were told the next bus would be at 2.30, but that got cancelled. So we had to wait in the station until 7am. Finally got on a bus but didn't get to Atlanta until 5pm.
I was so glad to see the hostel, it's really homely. Plus re woman who runs it is from Kensington, so she provide tea for breakfast yay! I went out that night with some people from the hostel for a couple of drinks at the Irish bar, one of the guys I had already met in my hostel in new Orleans.
After a proper nights sleep I headed to the aquarium. It's the largest, and it's pretty impressive! I went to see the dolphin show, which was brilliant! They're so clever, and they waved goodbye with their tails, awww! They have beluga whales, and they are massive! They were playing chase with the harbour seals. They also have a massive tank which you walk under, and they have everything from the ocean including whale sharks (huge)! They also had Nemo and Dory, so happy! I think I want a pet otter though, they were the cutest!
I then went across to the happiness factory - coca cola land!! They had this 4D show, it was pretty good but they have an insect poke you in the back and it kind of hurt! I saw all the old ads and learnt everything there is to know about coca cola! Like they invented the 6-pack! You got to sample all the products from around the world - the inca cola from Peru was good, and the melon fanta yum!
Going to watch some baseball with sean and his brother tonight, funsies!
