We\'re now in Queenstown after a couple of days at the glaciers of Fox and Franz Josef. We got lucky with a couple of breaks in the weather to get some decent views though all scenic flights were grounded due to low cloud. Bit of a shame as we were hoping to do a trip. Instead we did it on foot, walking up to the ends of both glaciers and doing a walk round Lake Matheson. This is the lake where most photos are taken for postcards... we did our best at our impression. Since the glaciers we\'ve headed south via Wanaka to Queenstown. These are both the big \'ski towns\'. Let\'s just say Val it is not! Yesterday I went for a bit of mountain biking in the hills surrounding town. After a few months off a bike I can hardly walk let alone sit today. Jane did a lake cruise and headed up the gondola for the views over the lake and town following the Ben Lomond walk. We\'re now off to the deer park to feed the deer. Jane is hoping to overcome her fear of animals and feed one. Then its down to Milford Sound for a boat cruise.
