Hi all Well we are now safely in NZ. After what felt like the longest flight in the world with lots of turbulence, we arrived at our hostel at 7.30am on Monday morning. We spent the day wandering round Auckland - nice and warm and sat eating green lipped mussels looking out onto the harbour. Crashed early doors for a monster sleep! Today we went to the Kelly Tarlton aquarium. We found Nemo and Dory amongst other sea creatures such as sharks, penguins and the biggest sting rays I have ever seen in my life! We then headed to Mount Eden and climbed to the summit to see the volcanic crater (which had cows in!) and see a fantastic view across the whole of Auckland. We are picking up the hire car tmrw to head north to the bay of islands. We will try to send some photos from there as cant download them on this computer. We are heading out for a few beverages tonight.
