Yep, I know, we spend our life in this city. But due to an error in dates (we won't nam names - Jamie), Lois didn't actually fly back until the Monday night, so it was a good job were extended our trip or she'd have sat in the airport for 2 days again.
Because of the aweful accommodation we satyed in in Ubud, she really wasn't feeling the backerpacker hostels in KL, so treated us to a nice hotel in Chinatown. Thanks Lo! We went back to the Petronas Twin Towers, found somewhere that made toasted cheese sandwiches (yay!) for breakfast, hiked half way across the city and ate at the side of the road in the hawker stalls. An experience she'll never forget. We're missing the satay and roti already!
We also went and had a foot massage before she got on the plane. I think this girl was well and truly pampered this holiday!
After she left us we checked into the backpackers hostel. Was ok and they obviously know the backpacker scene well. They served breakfast on the rooftop until 3pm. This was the first place we had scrambled eggs like home! We spent anopther 4 days here while we waited for a Vietnam Visa - our third attempt at getting it.
So, with the cinema being so cheap, and having nothing to do, we spent four days at the cinema.
