From Langkawi, we headed over to Penang. Obviously not a particularly memorable place as we can't remember what we did…

Oh yeah, we went to the cinema for a quid, including popcorn and drinks - but froze to death in the air-conditioning. We did contemplate watching another movie as it was so cheap but decided that was too sad. We did some sight seeing and went to a museum, mainly because we were so hot at that point and just needed to cool down.

We stayed in a grotty hotel, which classed itself as a 4 star when in fact was a complete flea pit! We didn't get much sleep at night here as we faced a karaoke bar and a pedestrian crossing that beeped the entire night. Not a lot to make you want to stay here.
