From KL we went bak to Borneo as we weren't able to dive the last time we were there. Again, nothing is ever staright forward out here. To cut a long story short, it turned out that the dive company we had booked with weren't a dive a centre, but a travel agent. They had booked us in with another company, who when we asked to see their permits (its illegal if you don't have a permit when diving here), he refused to show us and told us to get out of his shop. Yep, I know, we spend our life in this city. But due to an error in dates (we won't nam names - Jamie), Lois didn't actually fly back until the Monday night, so it was a good job were extended our trip or she'd have sat in the airport for 2 days again. Because of the aweful accommodation we satyed in in Ubud, she really wasn't feeling the backerpacker hostels in KL, so treated us to a nice hotel in Chinatown. Thanks Lo!
