Back to Bali to pick up a very tired Lois from the airport. Only just made it in time as we couldn't find anywhere for us to stay in Kuta for the night. We search high and low and found somewhere tucked down a little alley. Next to a building site admittidly, but was brand new, cheap and clean.Opted for the fast boat this time as we had Lois with us. Ended up in fits of histerics as it became a mission to even stay on yur seat it was bumpy - 10 bonus points to whoever could take a sip of water without the whole bottle ending up over your face. On the way over there, we met a couple of guys (Mike and Mike), who were also halerious. They ended up staying next door to us. Just the beach in the day and the Irish bar in the evening. Hard to resist when vodka, rum and coke were only 35p each. This however also led to some seriously dodgy dancing on the bar, and a servere hangover the next day. One day we decide to hire bikes and cycle round the island. We couldn't cycle as fistly the handlebars on the bike and a mind of their own, and secondly, the sand was so deep and soft, you had to push the bike most the way round. It also happened to be the hottest part of the day. Rach was not amused. The last few days here we went and used one of the hotels pools -the night before, we had also seen a BBC presenter (Charlie Boardman) and his camera crew check in. Sadly, I don't think we got on TV whilst they were filming!
