Well it's still raining contrary to the weather forcast - not quite as bad as the river situation yesterday though! Not the best day to do sight-seeing unfortunately but still there's plenty to do despite that. Phil wanted to go to the Palazzo Altembs, a museum in central Rome, which was pretty good. Had our first day of sight-seeing today after sleeping in till after midday (pretty tired after travelling all day yesterday). The apartment is very close to the Vatican so we went there first and had a wander around St. Peter's square - absolutely massive and so impressive! There was a nativity scene set up next to the obelisk - they obviously don't know that they have to take their christmas decorations down by the 5th January! After being cleared by the fashio...

Wow... What a day! I woke up at 7 having not printed boarding passes, no money in my bank account and unaware of what time the taxi was supposed to arrive - not good. Things got worse when two taxis were ordered by accident and one of the drivers started to pick a fight with Phil demanding 5 pounds from him to go away - we hadn't even left Glasgow yet! Still at least the flight to London went without of hitch. Gatwick was a little confusing as we actually managed...
