Well after an hour and three quarter flight on the most comical airline ever(air Asia) we landed in Phuket.
The airline entertainment was the cabin crew!! One had mini mouse ears, the other had a pair of Deidre Barlow pink glasses that covered her whole cheeks and forehead. They were dancing and posing for photos at the front and acted like Asian celebs...
Once landed we caught a transfer from PMK limousines which was irony for what we actually travelled in. It was a cramped bus dani and myself were squashed upfront with the driver, he was mental worse than any tuk tuk driver going through red lights like there was no tomorrow. The driver dropped us off at a TAT to for them to try and con us into accommodation, luckily ours was pre booked and they left us alone.
There was a Spanish group on the bus who were not having any of it and the Thais within got very angry with them throwing tickets at them...welcome to Phuket hey??
We boarded the bus again and luckily ours was the first stop The Dara hotel!
The hotel was a modern hotel and looked excellent a typical mod con hotel with all our needs! The concierge guided us to our room (302) and we settled in for the evening ready for our 12:00 ferry tomorrow.
