Back of the Blue Mountains
I don't want anyone to make an assumption based on the amount of alcohol consumed last night but we had what can only be described as a lazy morning. Nobody was hungover thankfully so we ate eggs and Jack drove us all an hour up the road to his Dads work place. I should inform you that his Dad is a park ranger and we visited an area of the Blue Mountains that is rarely seen by tourists. The area is called Kanangra and you can see another angle of the mountains without anyone else spoiling your pictures.
Jack and Hannah took some great photos of us on the edge of a precipice with nothing but trees and mountains as far as the eye could see. We drove back to Oberon just in time for a spot of lunch and some travel sharing tips.
Jack took James around the golf course which he still raves about. The story I have heard at least five times already, and I am guessing that won't be the last of it is the amount of kangaroos on one hole, but I'll let him tell you that one.
Jack and Hannah then fed us again with a delicious jerk chicken that I will definitely attempt to replicate when we're back home. Our entertainment for the evening was The Voice, not watching it as you would expect. We watched Hannah watch The Voice. She stares at the screen so hard, standing only a few centimetres away I feared for her eyes! When the recording clashed with another program you should've seen the panic flash across her face-very funny!
Jack's Dad arrived home after a long weekend of golf and promised me we could feed a kookaburra if I got up early enough. With that exciting information I got myself into our comfy bed.
