Our tour started in the city of Berlin as we drove around on the contiki bus, familiarizing ourselves with the map and specific locations. We had a quick stop along the Berlin wall, learning the history of the east and west side of Berlin as well as admiring the graffitti art the covered the wall. Our journey to Berlin was via the speedy ICE train which clocked at least 240km an hour. Considering how far Hamburg is from Berlin, it only took just less than 2 hours to get there. We found our hotel which was just outside central Berlin and checked in. On our way to get food we met a couple people who were also going to be on the same Contiki tour.
