Brisbane (22.08.2012): We partook in our last OZ experience bus ride today setting off at 8am for the journey from Rainbow Beach to Brisbane. On the way we checked out Noosa and the Glasshouse Mountains arriving into Brisbane at 14:00. Captain Cook discovered the Glasshouse Mountains. They are pretty impressive. We manage to spot a huge lizard thing there (its name begins with a G but I can't remember it).

We are staying at Brisbane City Backpackers and thankfully got upgraded for free from the cheap 20 bed dorm that we had booked to a 6 bed. Phew! We have had a stroll round the city and done some chilling out at the hostel. The hostel has a nice pool and amazing views over the city. Best of all the hostel has free unlimited wifi (claiming to be the only hostel in OZ to offer this). YAY!! I spent many hours trying to upload my photos. It is a long task!

Brisbane is cool. Melbourne is still my fave aussie city though. We spent awhile watching some street artists and checked out a food market that was going on. More exploring to be done tomorrow. We both have travelling blues already L.
