On the 20th we decided to head off to explore the rest of South Island and leave Uncle Paul to sort himself out for his trip to Vietnam and then on to South Africa to meet up with Jacqui's Mum and Dad for a trip to Namibia. Lucky b*****s! We drove via Ashburton to Lake Tekapo. A beautiful lake as in the picture above. The water is amazingly light bright blue - very impress scenery too. We headed off to a pizza place for dinner - one of the best pizza's we have had - Lamb, roast pots and mint sauce and smoked salmon, onions with wasabie sauce - MMMMMMmmmmmmmm.
