Delicate is an understatement - we take it easy and Jacq researches tickets for the Red Sox - they're $38 each direct but she finds a site called vivid seats and gets great tickets at $18 each - typical Jacq!
At 3pm we grab a subway to Fenway Park - our seats are awesome right by the pitch. We of course grab two hotdogs and cokes (compulsory) and praise the weather - it was touch and go and our seats do not have cover but we're good! So - an hour into the game we have to admit it - we're bored. Completely understand why these games last 4-5 hours - they are so slow! It's like watching rounders - the atmosphere isn't what we thought it would be either we're glad of the experience but maybe we just don't get it! Think we are more American football types…bit more rough and ready.
We head into Boston central stopping at the Tea Party to check out the ships - they are lovely and the river is busy with longboats dragon boat racing.
We move on, head home and pack up for tomorrow.
