The last few days we've been at old Onslow. We're camped right on the side of the river. We went fishing twice but caught nothing but a little bream. We explored all around the place until we found a beach with no one there. We had a swim then went back to camp. Old Onslow is an abandoned town with ruins of a jail.

The last four days we've been at point Samson. We've had a look around the small town and the port. We went to Wickham and played at a big park. We also went to Karratha and had lunch at KFC, that's the first time I've had it, it was delicious! We also drove to Dampier and we saw some salt mines and a MASSIVE gas plant. The last 4 days we have been staying at 80 mile beach. It is very pretty and there are millions of awesome shells. We collected tons of cool shells. We also drove 25 km down the beach and went beach fishing for salmon twice but all we caught was 2 catfish. We spent the last 4 nights at Barn hill Station. It is a working cattle station and our site was 50 meters from the beach. We have snorkelled, swam and walked down the beach. We walked 6km right and 3km left. We saw 6 huge buoys washed up from the pearling boats and we also explored lots of caves when we walked right. The last 4 days we have been at Middle Lagoon. It is a very quiet, beautiful place. There are two beaches, one is called lagoon beach, we are camped near that, and the other is called ridge beach. We have to drive a bit to get there. Me and dad snorkelled around the point from lagoon beach to ridge beach. We saw 2 schools of long toms and lots of other cool fish.
