Jacks Big Adventure
Today we went to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The founder of it is John Flynn you can find a picture of him on the $20 note. It's good because it helps 1000s of people in Australia. It's got 61 big planes. After the tour we went to see John Flynn's grave. He was 71 when he died. After tea tonight we went to an astronomy talk and got to learn about the stars and planets. We got to see Jupiter through a telescope and three of its moons.

Nannette Wow Jack, looking through a telescope.... that is great. You must see some beautiful sights at night when you are free camping, with falling stars etc. I didn't realise that the RFDS had so many planes but then again they have a huge area to cover. Do you know how many doctors they have on staff?
Nana & Poppy Tez You are learning so much about Australia and its history Jack. Have you seen the airstrips on the highways for the RFDS to land in an emergency?
