Jacks Big Adventure
Yesterday on the drive to Ormiston Gorge we stopped for lunch at Gosse Bluff which is a million year old crater that was caused by a comet. When we got to Ormiston gorge I walked up a hill that had spinafex all the way up it and I got spiked. There was a FREEEEEEEEEEEZING waterhole and a walk around the gorge. This afternoon at 3 : 30 we went to a talk with the ranger. They talked about animals and how to track them. We have swam at the waterhole and listened to the dingos howling. Dad saw a dingo walking along the path. As I lay here in bed tonight writing this I can hear dingos howling. It is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nannette What a beautiful photo, Jack. The crater must have been amazing to see. Did you go paddling in the waterhole? Is it an eerie sound when the dingos howl? I think that I would have goosebumps and not be able to sleep...but then you know what a scaredy cat I am. xx
