Last night we camped at the Devils Marbles. They we fun to explore. Today we are at Longreach waterhole it is just out of Elliot. It looks like long,wide river. It is full of bird life including kites, brolgas, ducks and pelicans. We were lucky to see a pare of brolgas. We swam in it, picked up freshwater muscles, got sea snails and pulled them out of their shells,pulled out all the weed from the water and put it on the bank. We also dug up clay from under the water and put it everywhere so it would dry and make everything stick. We even found a pot plant underwater. This morning Will and I stole the axe and chopped down some dead trees. We packed them away for spare fire wood though we won't be needing them because it 35 degrees.
