Yesterday Simon and I went to collect Mike and Heidi from the airport. I was so excited to see them both.

When I saw them both once again I forgot about the pain in my hand until I got a strong shake from Mike, but again I battled on.
That night we played pool, and drank lots of frozen cider and wine after another mammoth meal. I was so happy to see mike, I surprised myself.

Simons belated Birthday was a big eventful day. I woke up extra early, mainly because I wanted to spend more time with everyone. I took ML a cup of tea in bed Simon didn't want one.
That lunch time we ate at Simons favourite restaurant ever, Stanley's. With a view over the river and ancient bank vegetation it was perfect. That morning i decided That Simon can not have a second birthday without a cake, Christo agreed. We headed for Spa, all they had was doughnuts, so we brought the best 4 and some large candles, also several cans of creme soda. We made the cake, and also fashioned a giant cup out of the creme soda bottle. He was presented with his giant creme soda and cake, and had a huge smile on his face. Success.

After food yanni and wife left, and Christo and Maureen! I was very sad to see them go, however, we shall be seeing them in a week.

That night we had a pizza take away and watched a film all together.
