We had a awful coach journey to finally arrive at Mysore. We paid for a sleeper coach (basic, no A/C but beds tater then seats. We started on a semi sleeper with A/C, about the same price but not what we wanted. We stayed on this the whole 14 hours. The problem was however that our first driven was driving like an idiot. A few sweaty busses later we arrived at dusk in Palolem. Before we even stood from our seats a chap jumped on and sold us a beach hut for the night, we weren't really sure what to expect for his £1offer. The train to Anjuna was a 12 hours, and the first long distance journey on India. due to ticket availability we couldn't travel over night which would e ideal since you save on accommodation costs.
