We've now been living in our new place for 2 weeks, and it's totally awesome! The people we are sharing with are from Brazil and Chile, and they are all really nice. We've been going to the beach at the weekends (even though it's not really hot enough yet!) last weekend I climbed the mount, Jack didn't want to so i went myself! It took 30 minutes to get up there, and it was really really steep I was so glad when I got to the top - it was worth it though, the views are amazing (i'll try and put the pics on soon!).

We've kept in touch with the friends we met in the backpackers, as they have moved to a flat too so we have alternate bbq's, and play football on the beach!

We haven't been out surfing much for the last week cos there hasn't been waves but hopefully this weekend it's a bit better.

Last night the Scottish couple we met in Auckland arrived in the mount, and they are staying with us for the weekend so that should be good fun. We have 2 guys from Liverpool coming to stay the weekend after, we met them in Phnom Penh in Cambodia so haven't seen them for a while!

We're now booked to go to Sydney in January for a week (leave on 27th Jan and get back to Auckland on 4th Feb) as my cousin Ryan will be there, and my Granny and Grandpa too. Really looking forward to that! So, only 4 months left to work... and counting!
