Diving at Sail Rock.

Yesterday we decided to book a diving trip to Sail Rock as it would be our last opportunity to do it....our holiday is almost over already! But first we had to do a diving review. We were picked up about 3pm to go to Chaloklum, where the dive centre is. I was not sure whether I really wanted to dive again, but Lauri really wanted to. However when I first got into the pool I found that my mask was way too big and it flooded with water straightaway. They tried to find me another mask but after trying another couple I gave it up as I was not comfortable and was getting panicky. I decided it was better for me to get out and let Lauri finish his review.

Today was a gorgeous day, flat calm water. So it was a lovely boat ride to Sail Rock. It is a huge rock out in the middle of nowhere about an hour away.

Lauri had two dives and said it was great. He saw a huge grouper and also some barracuda and huge bat fish. It wasn't as clear as we had hoped for but was still a great day. I went for a snorkel but unfortunately it really wasn't as good as the other day at Haad Khom. The current was quite strong around the rock and not as many fish to be seen.

We got back to Chaloklum at about 2.30 pm. Then went back to Haad Salad and had our final swim for the holiday.

We decided to go back to Chaloklum for our last dinner at Nong Nook. Had our fish again but this time with ginger and garlic. Wonderful food again!

Can't believe we leave for home tomorrow!!!!
