Relaxing in the summer sun!!!

It was a very hot day today, 36 degrees and sunny, so we had a very lazy day, just swimming and relaxing by the pool.

Later in the evening we took Bengy for a walk to Ponte Serraglia (bridge on cover photo). Very pretty spot, and the river is lovely and crystal clean. Got back just before dark and had a late dinner on the terrace. So relaxed here, haven't even bothered to turn the TV on even though they have satellite and It is in English. Actually, we haven't seen any TV since we left.

Bengy is a very funny little dog with lots of personality. He talks to us a bit like Mischa does. He loves to chase balls and always brings them back and drops it. And we have discovered when giving him some leftovers that he will perform all sorts of tricks for a treat, as Lauri was offering him some mortadella and suddenly he rolled over and sat back up for it. He is very cute and no trouble to look after at all.
