It's hard to believe but we are nearly at the end of our trip!
We're in Camogli and have met up with Grandma, Grandpa and Great Grandma (big excitement all round at that reunion!)
Camogli is a gorgeous little coastal town in northern Italy (just around the coast from Portofino). It's idyllic with coloured, painted houses and spectacular views!
Our hotel - Cenobio dei Dogi - is perfect. Great for kids and very family friendly.
The only hiccup is that the sky is grey today and rain appears to be on its way!
Fortunately we are all so relaxed we don't care!
This has been the perfect way to end our trip. It really feels like we have been away for months!
Only a couple more days and then back to reality, but there is no question that this has been an unforgettable experience for all of us.
It's been more than worth all the organising and planning and we've got plenty of tips and advice for anyone else who has been inspired to go interrailing with kids!

Jen Hi, I've just come across your blog when searching inter railing with kids.. I'm also from Hale. I'm a teacher with 3 children of currently 4,7,9 and am planning on a 3 week adventure next summer (so weird hubby some alone with the girls!) Am I mad? Is it easy enough? I'd love some top tips! How old were your children?
