Jen Hi, I've just come across your blog when searching inter railing with kids.. I'm also from Hale. I'm a teacher with 3 children of currently 4,7,9 and am planning on a 3 week adventure next summer (so weird hubby some alone with the girls!) Am I mad? Is it easy enough? I'd love some top tips! How old were your children?

Rachel Barton HI there, I wonder if you still check this? we are planning a very similar trip with our 3 children this summer. Inter railing from the Wirral touching on many of the same places as you and ending up for a booked extended family holiday in Greece. I wondered if you had any specific advice- thing you would definitely do again/ do differently? Many thanks Rachel

Interrailing with kids We are so excited that you have been following our blog! It makes the whole trip even better that we are sharing it with our friends! We are now chilling in Camogli, which is just divine, and not yet thinking about coming back to reality! Love to all C, M, H & E xxx

interrailingwithkids Dear 'Barnett Beers about to Barmy' As much as we'd love to come to your BBQ (Hugo especially) I'm afraid that we are going to stay in this idyllic seaside town and eat fresh pasta and crispy focaccia finished with amazing ice cream! interrailingwithkids It's been the holiday of a lifetime. Really amazing - feels like we've been away for ages and I must confess I haven't thought about work once (Sorry Jude!). It's been so special sharing this with the kids and even though it sounded crazy at the time interrailing with kids IS possible (although I completely agree that this is not a holiday for prams and travel cots, Em)!! Thank you all for following our blog! We're in Florence tonight and then off to Camogli tomorrow for 5 days of chilling so after Florence I guess the blog will be much less interesting!
