We have settled into New Orleans. We really love it here! We've decided that we are actually enjoying the cruising lifestyle now! The weather has been stormy, so its giving us an excuse to stay even longer. We are staying at the New Orleans Municipal marina. We have a great slip in a wonderful location near buses and shopping. We have been major bus/street car riders going from one end of New Orleans to the other. We've been busy getting stuff for the boat, buying new foul weather gear, cockpit set cushions, flat screen HDTV, inverter and two more water tanks (extra water for showers). The marina still doesn't have electricity or water due to Hurricane Katrina. But since they don't have water and elec. its free! The recession isn't bothering us!
