We met some lovely people along the way, Rex and Betty who live in Horsham. They invited us to come and visit and stay at their place when we get close to Melbourne. Horsham is about 300km from Melbourne. Well we had the best couple of days with them, first night we had a roast lamb dinner followed by pavlova and strawberries and cream, with a hedgehog slice for supper!! The following day, we drove about 50km to a swamp called Jolumba, to catch yabbies. Allen donned a pair of waders and Rex did the same and off they went, they had a great time and Betty and I sat in such peaceful surrounds (as seen by the photos) while they waded the swamp. Not such a fantastic catch, but enough for a feed for us all. So off we go home to cook them up and dinner was magic, yabbies with a yummy sauce, a lovely salad, potato salad, and the remainder of the pavlova.......we had a great time with Rex and Betty. They are lovely people.
