What a little gem Sheffield is. It is a town of murals! They even run mural competitions annually with a winning prize of $15,000! We arrived here after leaving Mackintosh Dam this morning and driving over hills and mountians and around endless hairpin bends and steep downhill runs.
We have been in Tassie a week now and have seen so much. It is difficult to try to see it all but maybe we will have to come back another time to do more. We are trying to do most of our touring before we head off to Cradoc where Allens brother Neville lives. We are going to spend Christmas and New Year there and are due back on the boat on 9th Jan. Time is going to go fast. 6 weeks is a little short but I am booked into Tamworth for the Country Music Festival in January.
We had a nice hot shower when we arrived in Sheffield as the visitor centre has them for 3 mins for $1 so I took the opportunity to wash my hair. Nice. We have been free camping ever since we arrived in Tassie, which means we wash with a basin full of warm water. We carry our own porta potty.

Gail Wow, you two have become such experienced travellers and all the documentation is so informative and the illustrating photography is excellent. We look forward to check every day to see what the next instalment is of where you have been, what you have been doing, where you are going, who you have met, what you have collected and to see that you are both looking so relaxed and happy. Well done. Pete and Gail
