After spending a few days in Broome, just chillin out and enjoying the lovely weather, we headed back out bush to a couple of free camp spots before arriving in Karratha. Travelling across the NT toward WA has many free night spots for 24hr overnight camping. They get quite full and sometimes they are nearly full by 1pm!! Travelling from Queensland to the NT is a long haul. We only stop for lunch at some roadhouse area and then move onto a selected rest area. After leaving an overnight stop at Burke and Wills Roadhouse, we travelled through to Cloncury. It was a friday and all the shops were shut!! We tried to find anything open but it turned out it was a public holdiay for the Cloncurry people for show day.
