On the road again......just cant wait to be on the road again......lalallallaaa (me singing).

We are making our way to Tamworth but decided to detour a bit to see a few more country towns. We left Longwarry Victoria and headed north through Seymour, Euroa, Wangarrata, Wodonga, Culcain, Henty, Wagga Wagga, June, Cootmundra, Young, Cowra, Gooloogong and are currently at Bathurst, still about 400kms to go to Tamworth.

It has been exceptionaly hot all week. Over 39 every day, some places 41 degrees. It is forecast to be that for at least the next week or so, including Tamworth. Tent city will be roasting.

Yesterday, the air con in the car gave way......how inconsiderate. We had to travel the second half of the day with windows down with me spraying water over us as we travelled lol. The van fridge also decided it had had enough and went on strike! We couldnt get any drinks cold and everwhere we tried to get water for sandi it was hot! We even went to the pub last night and bought 4 cans of diet coke - we were desparate so paid premium price of $12.80 for them!!

We stopped at about 4.56pm and rang Bathurst for a repair to be booked in for today and we are getting the brakes done as well as a service too. This is going to be one expensive day! Allen has taken the car in and they drove him to the van, which we have parked at the showground. We will stay here tonight and if the car is ready may get some kms covered tomorrow afternoon.

At least the caravan air con is working.......oh I shouldnt have said that.....please keep working air con! It is nice and cool in the van.

The break will do us good and I will be refreshed ready for a week of partying in Tamworth with my sister and a friend.
