A much better drive back to the barge this morning as it was low tide so we could drive on the beach the whole way. We started the day at Eli Creek today. Eli creek is a freshwater creek that empties 4 million litres of fresh water into the ocean every year. You can float downstream or snorkle to check out the fish. Then you get out, run back up the boardwalk, and do it all over again. The water was pretty cold as we tried to get there early as it gets very busy. We thought it was crowded when we arrived, but that was nothing to when we left...three tour buses and about twice ...

We didn't have so much beach driving to do today, so were able to set off later as the tides weren't so important. Another early start today so we could time our beach driving with the tides. The notorious Indian Head was passed without a hitch and then on to Champagne Pools - rock pools that the waves break into causing the water to fizz. Into the packing up early this morning. Thankfully some done last night so only two hours or packup today. A little tricky packing the car because we didn't have food in it on the drive up from Melbourne but did have to include about 8 bags of groceries for our stay on the island.
