7/09/11 Day 29. Port Aventura, Spain
After an hour's sleep we were on the move. On the move to Port Aventura, the theme park just outside of Barcelona. Nick was the valiant one to chauffeur us as he didn't go out the night before he was alive and kicking (and still possessed his phone). We spent a day in the beaming sunshine on some great rides. We went on one called Furious or something ... it was like Rita, lots of acceleration and not much more. The famous Dragon Khan got attacked, brilliant ride. A big log flume i think was called The Wave, soaked us through, much needed moisture. We saw then two racing trains on a wooden rollercoaster, we thought, we need to get on that and got in a queue to what we thought was that one ... it wasn't, it was a wooden coaster meant for kids but we got on it anyway and it was scary! We all nearly fell out it was hilarious. The last ride of the day was some Rapids, like at Alton Towers again, all I could think was, Brother Omar, Fast Track Rubber Dinghy Rapids?! We then had a 5 hour drive back to Narbonne, to the beach to sleep for the night. We got there at 11pm and all went straight to bed.
