5/09/2011 Day 27. Near Narbonne

Set off this morning from our lay-by at half 8 again. We got to our new carpark at half 1. Only a 5 hour drive today, Nick kicked it off and I finished it. On the motorway across the south of France, we got absolutely rinsed on the tolls! We've paid over €18 euros each on them since leaving Italy the other day. We'll be spending even more tomorrow! Not happy with the French Autoroutes. So we got to the beach and on our way we passed a supermarket so we nipped back, did some shopping like girls and bought some beers and I got to say bonjour and merci! Speaking French like a professional. As we got back and headed down the SANDY beach (this time) to the sea we were battered with massive winds and sand flying on it. The water though was still nice. Sam found a ball on the beach so we got to play catch :) I was a bit frightened because the water was being blown away from the beach, I'm a rubbish swimmer and didn't want to be swept away and die. We had a doss around on the beach today and chilled out we had a nice day. Heading to Barcelona tomorrow. It's been a not so eventful day again but hopefully stuff will start happening again, let's see.
