4/09/2011 Day 26. Near Cannes

So today we were faced with what the sat nav said would be a 12 hour drive! Gutted. We set off about 8.30 and I was behind the wheel, keep on trucking! We ended up arriving at the lay-by where we're staying tonight at about 5.35. It was only 9 hours we tanned it :) so on the way we saw massive storm clouds, looked down onto Monaco as we drove past and I slept a bit. It was again, very eventful! There's a beach right by this lay-by though so we went down to the sea. Me, Aaron and Nick got right in the water, the Mediterranean sea in fact :) the water was still warm though the sun had pretty much gone behind the hills. We went down again before it got too dark and took some more pictures at twilight, it was really nice. Going to get up tomorrow and we have another drive for about 4 hours. Heading towards Narbonnes tomorrow for another chillout in a lay-by by the beach. Woowoo
