Our last day in Siem Reap was a biiiig admin day unfortunately, sat in front of a computer. Eventually we did get quite a lot sorted.
Arrived in Phnom Penh safely yesterday. The bus was a bit longer than what we'd been told but it was comfortable.
We did not want to check out, our hotel was so great! They even gave us a free massage on our last night and a free scarf as a souvenir gift!
We got to our new basic guesthouse, were quite impressed at the staff on reception, was even more impressed when they said they'd over booked and have upgraded us. We walked in to basically our own apartment suite! Balcony over looking the city, big lounge area and great beds- nice! We celebrated by walking down to the river and grabbing a couple of cocktails each In happy hour. Moving onwards today though unfortunately, our little spate of flash packing will have to come to an end.
Was quite gutted to miss fireworks night last night! Keep thinking that Sydney harbour at new year might just make up for that though!
We have booked our Fiji resort :) it's called blue lagoon and has very good reviews, also one of Amy's friends have stayed there and highly recommended it. Unfortunately were having to do a dorm room as Fiji is extremely expensive! So it's not the stylish beach hut that opens to the white sanded beach that we imagined but I'm sure it will be good, it's still Fiji :)
